Fox 5 Report on Consumer Affairs response to Floral Park Dry Cleaner Closing

"Lil Jay" Cleaners in Floral Park closed suddenly on Friday leaving customers frustrated. They were ordered to shut down weeks ago because of unpaid rent and taxes. Nassau County Consumer Affairs Commissioner Roger Bogsted said: " The fact that they were taking in clothing the morning that they knew they were going to be closed down, is certainly deceptive and unconscionable."

Because of Consumer Affairs investigation, customers were able to get their clothes back on Friday, April 6. Lil Jays will be open one day next week for customers who need to pick up their clothes but were unable to make it to the store on April 6.
