Nassau County Re-Establishes Athletic Leagues

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano announces that Nassau County has re-established an athletic league program. The leagues, which will play on the range of Parks Department fields, involve baseball, softball and lacrosse.

Nassau County Announces Adult Summer Lacrosse League Signup


Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano announces that the Nassau County Adult Summer Lacrosse League has begun signing up teams.

The league will run from June through August, with games played on state-of-the-art turf fields at Mitchel Athletic Complexin Uniondale (pictured right) and Cantiague Park in Hickville. The games will be played from 7 - 9 p.m.

The league will incorporate six divisions: Intermediate “A” and “B”; “Advanced” for higher competition; “Open” for highest-level competition; and “Over 30” and “Over 40” years of age.
