Tony Orlando to Perform at Lakeside Theatre on September 3

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano announces that Tony Orlando, one of America’s most endearing and enduring stars, will appear at Eisenhower Park’s Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre on Friday, September 3, at 7:30 p.m. ” The concert is free.
“Tony Orlando’s appearance at the Lakeside Theatre promises to be a major entertainment event,” says Mangano. “We are thrilled that he will be performing virtually all of his greatest hits.”
Orlando, who remains one of America’s best-loved entertainers, has received three American Music Awards and a People’s Choice Award. He was also awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1990 for outstanding achievements to the entertainment industry.
Besides the iconic “Tie a Yellow Ribbon,” Orlando will perform other No. 1 hits such as ”Knock Three Times,” “Sweet Gypsy Rose” and “Candida.”
The Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre is located near parking fields 6 and 6A in Eisenhower Park. Special accommodations are available for disabled patrons, including reserved parking, easily accessible restrooms, and a convenient reserved location on the hill. Assistive hearing devices are available for the hearing impaired. There is no formal seating at Lakeside Theatre, so concert-goers are urged to bring folding chairs.
