This new 5,000-square-foot museum within the Cradle of Aviation Museum emphasizes fire-safety education through a series of exhibits, hand's-on activities and live demonstrations. Children learn how 911 calls get routed, for example, and how firefighters position themselves to battle blazes. Combining history and education, the Center features interactive displays that allow the visitor to touch, feel and smell the signs of a fire. Historical exhibits trace the evolution of fire boxes and firefighting apparatus. Click here for Firefighters Museum Website.
