Merokee Preserve

Bellmore, Orange and Farmer streets

Merokee contains 25 acres of woods and wetlands located between Sunrise Highway and Merrick Road. Newbridge Creek splits into two channels as it enters the preserve, creating a small island in the middle. A nature trail is accessible by the entrance, one block south of Sunrise Highway.
