Directions

The Nassau County Aquatic Center is located within the grounds of Eisenhower Park located in East Meadow, New York. Parking for the Center is in Lot No. 1A, located off Merrick Avenue between Hempstead Turnpike and Charles Lindbergh Boulevard. Click here for a detailed map of Eisenhower Park.

From the Meadowbrook Parkway, take Exit M5- Hempstead Turnpike (Rt. 24) east. Make a left at the first traffic light onto Merrick Ave. going north. Make a right at the first traffic light on Merrick Ave. The Aquatic Center parking lot is #1A.

From Stewart Avenue, make a right onto Merrick Avenue going south. Make a left at the second traffic light into parking lot No. 1A.

From Old Country Road, go south on Merrick Avenue — parking lot No. 1A entrance is on left. Take the second traffic light after main entrance to Eisenhower Park (Stewart Avenue).

From the Verrazano Bridge and Kennedy Airport, take the Belt Parkway east to the Southern Sate Parkway. Take the Southern Sate Parkway to the Meadowbrook Parkway going north (Exit 22N). From the Meadowbrook Parkway take Exit M5 — Hempstead Turnpike (Route 24) east. Make a left at the first traffic light onto Merrick Avenue (Korean War Veterans Memorial Drive) going north. Make a right at the first traffic light on Merrick Avenue. The Aquatic Center parking lot is No. 1A.

From the Whitestone Bridge and Throgs Neck Bridge, take the Cross Island Parkway south to Exit 29 — the Grand Central Parkway going east. The Grand Central Parkway will turn into the Northern State Parkway. Stay on Parkway to the Meadowbrook Parkway going south (Exit 31A toward Jones Beach). From the Meadowbrook Parkway take Exit M5, Hempstead Turnpike (Route 24) east. Make a left at the first traffic light onto Merrick Avenue (Korean War Veterans Memorial Drive) going north. Make a right at the first traffic light on Merrick Avenue. The Aquatic Center parking lot is No. 1A.

From La Guardia Airport, take the Grand Central Parkway east. The Grand Central Parkway turns into the Northern State Parkway. Stay on the Parkway to the Meadowbrook Parkway going south (Exit 31A toward Jones Beach). From the Meadowbrook Parkway take Exit M5 — Hempstead Turnpike (Route 24) east. Make a left at the first traffic light onto Merrick Avenue (Korean War Veterans Memorial Drive) going north. Make a right at the first traffic light on Merrick Avenue. The Aquatic Center parking lot is No. 1A.

The entrance to Lot No. 1A is located on Merrick Avenue between Hempstead Turnpike and Charles Lindbergh Boulevard.

PARKING

Parking for the Center is in lot No. 1A, located off Merrick Avenue (Korean War Veterans Memorial Drive). The circle in the front of the building is for drop-off only. If lot No. 1A is full, overflow parking is located in lot No. 1, also located off Merrick Avenue, or lot No. 6A, located off the main road inside Eisenhower Park. Parking in lot No. 1A is very limited on days in which there is an event taking place.
