Elmont Visioning

The Elmont Visioning Project, funded jointly by Nassau County Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi and Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray

and the Town of Hempstead, targeted Hempstead Turnpike from

the Queens border to the Franklin Square border.

The Visioning was comprised of three education workshops, a

charrette weekend and a community presentation. The Visioning

Project will culminate with a community-supported plan that the

Town and County can use to implement future improvement projects.
