Elmont Visioning

The Elmont Visioning Project, funded jointly by Nassau County

and the Town of Hempstead, targeted Hempstead Turnpike from

the Queens border to the Franklin Square border.

The Visioning was comprised of three education workshops, a

charrette weekend and a community presentation. The Visioning

Project has culminated with a community-supported plan that the

Town, County and State will use to implement future improvement projects.
