NASSAU COUNTY EXECUTIVE EDWARD MANGANO ANNOUNCES
FREE PROGRAMS DURING MARCH 2012 FOR ELMONT AREA SENIORS

(Including Franklin Square, Floral Park and West Hempstead)

Tuesday, March 13
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Caregiver Support Group – For ALL Caregivers.  This group is led by Sari Flesch, A.A., B.A., Nassau County Office for the Aging at the Elmont Public Library, 700 Hempstead Turnpike, and provides an opportunity for participants to share experiences and help one another.  No one should be alone!  Coffee and cookies will be served.  Call (516) 227-8945 for information.

Thursday, March 15
10:00 am - 12:00 Noon

Health Assessments are coordinated by the Nassau County Office for the Aging at the Elmont Public Library, 700 Hempstead Turnpike.  June Friedel, R.N., will help identify problems associated with blood pressure, weight control and medication monitoring and answer your health questions individually.  Coffee will be provided.  Call (516) 354-5280.

The Voice of Grandparents – Ongoing Support Group
