Men and women, 55 years of age and over, can make a meaningful contribution by volunteering their services on a regular basis. Community agencies benefit and volunteers derive great personal satisfaction. The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program – RSVP – recruits and arranges for training and placement in volunteer assignments in non-profit agencies throughout Nassau County. For information, contact:

The Department offers a free employment service for Nassau County residents age 55 and over and to employers seeking qualified workers.
