Please follow the directions on the reverse
side of the ticket. To plead not guilty, you
must prepare and submit a signed written statement
stating your desire to plead not guilty and
include your current address. Attach any documents
to show that you are not guilty. Mail the ticket
to the Nassau County Traffic and Parking Violations
Agency, 16 Cooper Street, Hempstead, NY 11550-4063.
The ticket must be received before the return
date. Failure to enter a plea before the return
date will result in additional fines and penalties.
If your proof is accepted, you will not hear
from us; if your request is denied, you will
be advised by mail of your scheduled court
date. You cannot change an appearance date
until a plea is entered. If you plead not guilty
you will be required to appear at the Agency
at a later date.
