ASSESSOR LEVINSON CALLS FOR COORDINATED EFFORT TO COMBAT ILLEGAL APARTMENTS

 (Mineola, NY)  Assessor Harvey Levinson asked the Landlord/Tenant part of the Nassau District Court to require that an affirmation be placed on a court petition that must be signed by the landlord attesting to whether or not the apartment being rented is legal and conforms to local building and zoning laws.
