LEVINSON ANNOUNCES BASIC STAR PROGRAM CHANGES AT PRESS CONFERENCE

(Mineola, NY) Assessor Harvey Levinson, flanked by Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi (left) and Legislator Roger Corbin (right), announces his new initiative to allow year round filing for the Basic STAR Exemption and his attempt to reach out to those residents who have yet to file for this property tax relief program. Mr. Levinson indicated that the owners of homes, condominiums and co-ops may qualify for hundreds of dollars in school property tax savings each year.
