Thank you for taking time to write to my office. As the new Comptroller I appreciate and look forward to comments and ideas from constituents.

The situation with the Special Districts is one of the many topics that my office will focus on. A second audit of the Oceanside Sanitation District was just completed. We will continue to look at all areas where the County can save money without reducing service.

My highest priorities will be to streamline government and to help fix the Tax Assessment System. We feel that there are millions of dollars in these areas that can be saved.
