Suozzi Announces That Residents Can Reserve Golf Tee Times Online
East Meadow, NY—Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi announced today that, as part of his e-government initiative and the Nassau County Parks “Making a Comeback” Campaign, golf tee times for all Eisenhower Park golf courses can now be reserved online.
“This new online service is just one of a number of initiatives we have instituted in order to improve our parks and to make services more assessable to our residents,” said County Executive Suozzi. “I am very pleased to be able to announce this wonderful new feature to all Nassau’s golf lovers.”
Anyone can now make reservations for Eisenhower Park’s three golf courses at www.nassaucountyny.gov/parks. Residents are able to access the easy-to-use online reservation system 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition to reserving golf tee times, residents will also be able to view course availability, maps of the parks and golf courses, review existing reservations and print out reservation confirmations.
Nassau County will also now provide online reservations for the remaining four Nassau County courses as well as give Nassau residents the ability to renew Leisure Passports online. Residents will continue to be able to make reservations at all golf courses over the phone and in person at the ticket office.
“I am committed to the transformation of the 6,000 acres of Nassau County parks,” County Executive Suozzi said. “Online tee time reservations are only one of the numerous improvements. We have also recently launched a vastly improved new parks website.”
The new site allows residents to easily access the many activities Nassau County parks offer and includes an online application to search parks by location and activity offerings.
