District Attorney’s Office to be Featured on 60 Minutes

National news program scheduled to profile District Attorney Rice’s fight against drunk driving

 

MINEOLA, NY – Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice’s fight against drunk driving will be featured on this Sunday’s episode of CBS’s 60 Minutes.  The national television newsmagazine will profile Rice’s efforts and the deaths of Katie Flynn and Stanley Rabinowitz, both of whom were killed in 2005 by a drunk driver eventually convicted of murder by the Rice administration.

Award-winning journalist Bob Simon is the 60 Minutes correspondent for the segment, which is scheduled to run Sunday evening at 7:00 P.M. EST.
