Mineola, NY – Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced today there are still two additional job preparation workshops being held before the Private Sector Mega Job Fair on Monday, November 4th at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale. The free job preparation classes are for Nassau County residents and include assistance with resume writing, techniques for an effective interview and how to best explore career options.

The remaining two Job Preparation Workshops are being offered October 23rd and October 30th from 2:30 p.m. to 4p.m. at the Cradle of Aviation Museum located at 1 Davis Avenue, Garden City. Professionals from well-known personnel staffing agencies will be conducting these workshops. Pre-registration is required by calling (516) 227-7692 or (516) 227-8656.

With more than 300 companies and 10,000 job seekers expected to attend the November 4th Mega Job fair, the competition for jobs can be great. “We encourage everyone to register for one of the free job preparation workshops as this is a great opportunity to enhance your ability of becoming gainfully employed,” stated County Executive Mangano. “The better prepared the job seekers are, the more confidence they have which can lead to greater employment opportunities and success.”
