Beach Closings
Due to heavy rainfall, the Nassau County Department of Health has closed the following 23 beaches as a precautionary measure, effective today, July 18th.
All 18 Nassau County North Shore Beaches*
and
On the South Shore in Nassau County:

Storm water runoff can have a negative impact by elevating bacteria levels that are used to assess bathing water quality.
