Nassau Beaches Open

The Nassau County Department of Health has allowed the 20 beaches, closed as a precautionary measure due to heavy rainfall Saturday night to reopen, effective today, June 16th. 

All 17 Nassau County North Shore Beaches*

and

On the South Shore in Nassau County:

Biltmore Beach Club Beach

Hewlett Point Beach

Merrick Estates Civic Association Beach

Island Park Beach and Phillip Healey Beach,

which had been closed prior to Sunday, June 15th, remain closed at this time.
