Beaches Open

All 17 Nassau County North Shore beaches*, which were closed as a precautionary measure due to heavy rainfall, are open as of today, August 13th.

For up-to-date local beach information, call your village or town recreation department or call the Nassau County Department of Health Office of Recreational Facilities weekdays from 9:00 A.M.– 4:45 P.M. at (516) 227-9717.
