Beach Closings

Three Nassau County Beaches Close due to elevated Bacteria Levels

Nassau County Department of Health has closed the following three North Shore beaches due to elevated bacteria levels, effective today, August 20, 2009.

Soundside Beach

Piping Rock Beach Club

Lattingtown Beach

In addition, Crescent Beach in the City of Glen Cove remains closed due to elevated bacteria.
