The Public Health Laboratory accepts clinical specimens for tests of public health significance from NYS authorized submitters.  The laboratory cannot accept specimens for clinical testing from individuals nor can the laboratory release results to individuals.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Beginning June 29, 2009 and until further notice, the Nassau County Department of Health Public Health Laboratory will not accept specimens for Quantiferon, Mycobacteriology, Hepatitis, Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella testing.
