Beaches Open

The Nassau County Department of Health is allowing the following 23 beaches to reopen on Saturday, June 30, 2007.

All 18 Nassau County North Shore Beaches*

and

On the South Shore in Nassau County:

Biltmore Beach Club Beach
Hewlett Point Beach
Island Park Beach
Merrick Estates Civic Association Beach
Phillip Healey Beach

These beaches have been closed as a precautionary measure due to storm water runoff.
