Nassau County Beaches Open

All Nassau County beaches are currently open. 

After Labor Day, all permitted beaches in Nassau County will be officially closed for the season, unless special weekend permits have been issued by the Nassau County Department of Health.

For up-to-date local beach information, call your village or town recreation department or call the Nassau County Department of Health Office of Recreational Facilities weekdays from 9:00 A.M.– 4:45 P.M. at (516) 227-9717.
