Beach Closings

Due to heavy rainfall, the Nassau County Department of Health has closed the following 14 North Shore beaches as a precautionary measure, effective today, July 26, 2010.

Storm water runoff can have a negative impact by elevating bacterial levels used to assess bathing water quality.
