Keeping the Dream Alive - Legislator Corbin Honors Martin Luther King Jr. Award Winners

Nassau County Legislator Roger Corbin (D-Westbury) attended the 19th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Awards Breakfast at the Marriott Hotel to congratulate the honorees from Operation Get Ahead, Inc. that included Aleya Swoopes and Shaina Key.

Operation Get Ahead, Inc. offers programs for youths that include group counseling, job readiness, job placement referrals, HIV/AIDS prevention and education, math tutoring, computer training, literacy and senior citizens projects as well all free of charge.
