Legislator Scannell Secures Funding for RVC Museum Repairs
Nassau County Legislator Joe Scannell (D-Baldwin) secured $15,000 in Nassau County Community Revitalization Project funding that was used at the Philips House Museum of Rockville Centre. This local landmark needed various improvements and repairs which were achieved through these funds. At the recent presentation of the Museum’s permanent charter Legislator Scannell said, “Repairs were made to the building’s chimney, roof, gutters and leaders. I am happy to have assisted in the restoration of Philips House, an important part of Rockville Centre’s history.”
