Legislator Scannell Invites Community to National Night Out on August 2nd Cow Meadow Park

Nassau County Legislator Joe Scannell (D-Baldwin) invites all families in his constituency to join him, Freeport Mayor Hardwick, Nassau County Police Department, the Freeport Police and Fire Departments for the 28th annual National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday August 2nd at 6 p.m in Cow Meadow Park (End of S. Main Street, Freeport). . National Night Out Against Crime is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support in anticrime programs, and strengthen neighborhood spirit and cooperation against criminals.

Come join your neighbors and friends, members of local civic, business, and social service agencies for an evening of fun and educational activities. There will be free refreshments, music, games, and pony rides. National Night Out will take place rain or shine.
