Legislator Toback Hosts How To Challenge Your Assessment Community Meeting in East Rockaway

Nassau County Legislator Jeff Toback (D-Oceanside) hosted a meeting inviting Dolores Sedacca from the Nassau County Department of Assessment who spoke to residents sharing ways to challenge their assessment at the East Rockaway Public Library.

Nassau County Legislator Jeff Toback (D-Oceanside) hosted three community meetings to speak to residents about challenging their assessments. He invited Dolores Sedacca from the Nassau County Department of Assessment to share ways to challenge assessments.

Legislator Toback urged residents to appeal their most recent assessment if they disagree with it, even if they are awaiting determination of an appeal filed last year. The filing deadline is March 2, 2009.
