Legislator Toback Joins Oceanside Knights of Columbus to Honor Wounded Warriors
Nassau County Legislator Jeff Toback (D-Oceanside) showed his support for the Wounded Warriors when he marched in the Oceanside Knights of Columbus’ parade who honored the organization and also attended the fundraiser for the Wounded Warriors.
“The Wounded Warriors are a great organization that helps so many people,” Legislator Toback said. “I was happy to show my support for all that they do by marching in the Oceanside Knights of Columbus parade held to honor the severely injured service men and women. The Oceanside Knights of Columbus worked hard to pull together a fundraiser for the Wounded Warriors and should be commended.”
The Wounded Warrior Project is committed to raising public awareness and enlisting aid from the public to benefit severely injured service men and women. They provide programs and services to severely injured active service members and their families during the critical time between their initial rehabilitation while on active duty and their eventual transition to civilian life.
