Legislator Toback: "Do You Want Our Neighborhood Kids To Look At This Everyday?”

Legislator Jeff Toback (D-Oceanside) is planning a demonstration on Thursday in front of 350 Northern Blvd., in Great Neck, the offices of the owner of the Platinum Club’s building on Rockaway Blvd. in Queens. The residents of the Five Towns have complained that the large billboard advertising the gentleman’s club is provocative and want it taken down immediately.

“As a parent I am outraged that children are being subjected to this type of immodesty,” said Legislator Toback holding a sign depicting the Platinum Club’s questionable billboard. “I pledge to take all steps necessary within the law to have this inappropriate signage removed from our community.”

Leg. Toback cautioned Great Neck residents that their community could be the next area exposed to such risqué advertising.
