Legislator Bosworth Hosts Assessment Grievance Seminars
Nassau County Legislator Judi Bosworth invites you to join her in learning how to appeal the assessed value of your property. As a property owner you have the right to appeal your property assessment. A representative of the Nassau County Department of Assessment Review Commission (ARC) will teach you how to file a grievance for the assessed value of your property that will be used to determine your 2010-2011 property taxes. There is no fee to file a grievance with ARC and you have the option to file online.
The grievance period is January 2, 2009 through March 2, 2009. Legislator Bosworth has scheduled the following dates and locations for the seminars: Wednesday, January 21, 2009 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Community Room of the Great Neck Library, 159 Bayview Avenue, Great Neck; Tuesday, January 27 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Clinton G. Martin Park, 1601 Marcus Avenue in New Hyde Park and on Wednesday, February 11 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Community Room of the Manhasset Library, 30 Onderdonk Avenue in Manhasset.
