Legislator Bosworth to Hold Free Workshops On Property Tax Assessment

February Workshops in Great Neck, Manhasset and New Hyde Park

Nassau County Legislator Judi Bosworth invites her constituents to a series of free workshops on property tax assessment. Legislator Bosworth said, “Residents can learn about the process of property valuation and how to file an appeal of the assessed value of their property if they disagree with their most recent assessment. A representative from the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission will be available to give information and answer any questions at each workshop.”

Legislator Bosworth has scheduled three workshops. The first will be on February 9, 2010, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in the Community Room of the Great Neck Library, 159 Bayview Avenue.

The second will be on February 11, from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Manhasset Public Library, 30 Onderdonk Avenue and the third workshop will be on February 24, from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Clinton G. Martin Park, 1601 Marcus Avenue in New Hyde Park.
