Legislator Bosworth Honored as Zonta Club Woman of the Year
The Zonta Club of Greater Queens, a thriving women’s service organization, honored Nassau County Legislator Judi Bosworth (D-Great Neck) as one of its three “Women of the Year” during their 4th Annual Women of the Year Awards Dinner on April 20, 2010. Dr. Karen Siegel, upon presenting the award to Legislator Bosworth, noted her many and varied contributions which have exemplified the spirit of the Zonta Club’s mission to advance the status of women locally and globally, and which have enriched the entire community. Also honored were Marion Andrews, a 97 year-old aviatrix and Lordeas Braxton, a retired educator.
