Legislator Bosworth Presents Awards at New Hyde Park Organization of Chinese Americans Meeting

Nassau County Legislator Judi Bosworth (D-Great Neck) recently attended a meeting of the Organization of Chinese Americans in New Hyde Park as an invited guest. She enjoyed speaking to the members, presenting a Nassau County Citation to Mary Chu, chair of hospitality, and Paula Uhl and Robin Tovell-Tobal, who helped to bring Project Independence to New Hyde Park.

“The members were so warm and welcoming and it was a pleasure to be there,” Legislator Bosworth said. “I look forward to working together with this important organization that plays such a vital role in our community.”

Project Independence is committed to bringing services directly to seniors to help enable them to maintain their independence and remain living in their own home.
