Legislator Bosworth Speaks to Members of Reach Out America

Nassau County Legislator Judi Bosworth (D-Great Neck) spoke recently to fellow members of Reach Out America, a non-profit community advocacy group. Legislator Bosworth updated them on the challenges facing the County as a result of the recent economic downturn and described her efforts to serve the 10th Legislative District, by promoting environmental and safety causes through legislation and community information. She commended them for their advocacy efforts and their service to the community.

“Reach Out America is so much about being involved at the grass roots level in order to influence decision making,” Legislator Bosworth said. “I have seen the many ways in which citizen action can bring about real change. I was so happy to spend time with the members of Reach Out America and to be able to listen and work with people who are trying to make a difference.”
