Legislator Bosworth Urges Do Not Call List Signup

Nassau County Legislator Judi Bosworth (D-Great Neck) reminds all residents with cell phones that as of this month (June), all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies. This means cell phone users will start to receive sales calls and will be charged for those calls.

Legislator Bosworth said, “To prevent receiving calls from telemarketers I urge everyone with a cell phone to call 888-382-1222, the National Do Not Call List. It only takes a minute and it blocks your number for five years.”
