Be prepared. Nassau County is very susceptible to the powerful and destructive nature of hurricanes. What you have on hand when a hurricane hits can make a big difference in how well your family handles it. Legislator Judi Bosworth (D-Great Neck) is hosting a hurricane preparedness and FEMA flood update presentation to prepare residents for the hurricane season which is now upon us.
