Former Astronaut Mary Cleave Honored at Cradle of Aviation

Nassau County Legislator Judi Bosworth (D-Great Neck) honored former astronaut and Great Neck North High School

graduate Mary Cleave (pictured at left with Leg. Bosworth) at the 8th Annual Air and Space Gala at the Cradle of Aviation

Museum in Garden City on Thursday November 11, 2010. Ms. Cleave expressed to Leg. Bosworth her deep appreciation

for the education she received at the Great Neck schools, which she credits for her success as an astronaut. Also honored

at the gala were former space shuttle astronauts U.S. Senator Bill Nelson, Robert "Hoot" Gibson, Tom Henricks, Kevin Kregel

and Bill Shepard, as well as Globecomm CEO David E. Hershberg and Rivkin Radler LLP.
