Legislator Wink Congratulates American Legion Post # 336
Nassau County Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) spoke to members of the Glenwood Landing American Legion Post #336 at their 90th anniversary dinner dance. He thanked them for their service to our country presenting them with a county citation. Legislator Wink noted that his interest in public service began when he was nominated to attend the American Legion Boys State program after his junior year of high school.
“I am honored that I was invited to come here to speak to our veterans on such an important occasion,” Legislator Wink said. “These brave men and women from the Glenwood Landing American Legion have served their country well and continue to be very active participants in their community. I would like to thank them for everything that they have done and continue to do for our country.”
