Legislator Wink Thanks Morton's Steakhouse For Hosting Dinner Event in Support of Long Island Cares

Nassau County Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) attended a fundraiser hosted by Morton’s Steakhouse in Great Neck to benefit Long Island Cares, Inc. – The Harry Chapin Food Bank, a hunger assistance organization. The unique dining experience included four full courses of Morton’s signature cuisine, a variety of wines, and a live benefit auction.

“With so many people experiencing difficulties due to the economy, it is more important now than ever to support Long Island Cares, who reach out to assist so many Long Islanders,” Legislator Wink said. “They are committed to helping Long Island families in crisis, providing food, and help them become self-sufficient. Morton’s Steakhouse of Great Neck is one of Long Island’s most outstanding restaurants. It was generous of them to host this event providing the opportunity for people to give to others and at the same time enjoy an excellent evening of fine dining.”
