Leg. Wink Welcomes the Nicholas Center for Autism
and Spectrum Designs Foundation to Port Washington
Last week, Nassau County Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) attended the ribbon cutting ceremonies for the new location of the Nicholas Center for Autism (NCFA) and Spectrum Designs Foundation in Port Washington. The Foundation offers a variety of services and life skills geared toward improving the lives of young men and women with autism and similar conditions. Located on Port Washington’s Main Street, the Foundation also offers vocational opportunities at Spectrum Designs, an apparel decorating company that teaches the Foundation’s clients the necessary skills to work and reach out to the community.

Pictured at the ribbon cutting ceremonies for the Nicholas Center for Autism and Spectrum Designs Foundation in Port Washington are Nicole Sugrue, the Center's co-founder and Director of Development and Community Liaison; the Center's CEO,
