Nassau County Legislators Wink and Jacobs Honor
Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Award Winners

Nassau County Legislators Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) and Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) attended the 26th annual luncheon sponsored by the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Celebration Committee of Nassau County last week. During the festivities paying tribute to Dr. King’s memory, three people were cited by the Committee in recognition of their efforts on behalf of our Nassau County community. They are: Irv Miljoner, the Director of the US Dept. of Labor; Richard Warren; and Brigadier General (Ret.) George A. Jones. He is our area’s pre-eminent expert on Federal Wage & Hour laws.
