NCPD Officers Travel to Haiti to Aide in Disaster Relief Effort

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano, Nassau County Majority Leader Legislator Peter Schmitt and Nassau County Police Commissioner Lawrence Mulvey met with Nassau County Police Officers before their departure for Haiti to aide in the disaster relief efforts. The officers, all volunteers, left for Haiti from Stewart Air Force Base in Newburgh New York and will be in Haiti for at least ten days to help provide relief.
