Schmitt Attends Girl Scout Troop’s 14th Annual Awards Ceremony

The Massapequa Association of Girl Scouts held the Fourteenth Annual Awards Ceremony honoring young women who have earned the Gold Award, Girl Scouting’s highest award.  Nassau County Legislator Peter Schmitt, the Republican leader of the Legislature, was on hand to present special Legislative Citations to mark the achievement.  Shown in photo, left to right, are:  Association Co-Chair Barbara Bealmuto; Gold Award Coordinator Elizabeth Seickel; Gold Award recipients Rachael Randazzo and Gracemarie Rozea; Legislator Schmitt; Gold Award recipients Lia DiGiovanna; Annmarie Clemente; Athene Gatto; Association Co-Chair Elise Deegan; and Award Chair Peggy Caltabiano.
