Schmitt Speaks At Harbor Green Civic Association Meeting

Nassau County Legislator Peter J. Schmitt was the guest speaker at a recent meeting of the Harbor Green Civic Association.  Schmitt spoke to the group about the fiscal distress of Nassau County and the new Home Energy Tax which County Executive Suozzi and the ten members of the Democrat Majority imposed on Nassau County residents. 

“That tax must be repealed”, said Schmitt.  “Everybody must pay . . . the recently unemployed, seniors on a fixed income, and residents cannot choose not to run the refrigerator.”
