Legislator Schmitt Honors Girl Scout Co-Chair Linda Wargo

Linda Wargo, Co-Chair of the Plainedge Association of Girl Scouts for the past 14 years, has relinquished that position. Nassau County Legislator Peter J. Schmitt, the Minority Leader of the Legislature, was on hand to recognize Linda for her contributions to the community. “Linda Wargo has had a hand in shaping the characters of thousands of young women in our community, her presence has made our community a better place, and I am delighted to proclaim June 1st as “Linda Wargo Day” in Nassau County.”
