Schmitt Addresses Village Officials Association

Nassau County Legislator Peter J. Schmitt, the Minority Leader of the Legislature, addressed the Village Officials Association recently. Schmitt spoke at length about Nassau County budget, and the looming $141 Million dollar deficit for fiscal year 2008. Schmitt stressed the need to cut government spending and not to raise taxes.
