Legislator Mejias Honored by LI Jobs with Justice

Nassau County Legislator Dave Mejias (D-Farmingdale) was honored recently by Long Island Jobs with Justice in

recognition of his continuing commitment to workers’ rights on Long Island and throughout the United States of America.

Jobs with Justice is a nationwide network of local coalitions of labor, community, faith, and student organizations whose mission is to

address the root causes of social and economic injustice. The organization’s members are dedicated to grassroots organizing to

protect the rights of working people. They are committed to the creation of family wage jobs, health care for all, support for organizing

both here and abroad, and maintaining pressure to demand corporate accountability in our communities.
