Legislator Mangano Opposes Plan
to Close Bethpage Ticket Office

I would like to inform you that the MTA has announced plans to close the ticket office at the Bethpage LIRR train station.  I believe that closing the Bethpage Ticket Office will pose a detriment to our ridership and I have made my opposition known on behalf of the residents of Bethpage. Please view my correspondence and the LIRR’s response below.

If you share my concerns, I urge you join me by writing to Helena Williams, President of the Long Island Rail Road, and expressing your opposition to the removal of Ticket Office personnel from the Bethpage Ticket Office.  Ms. William’s contact information is:
