Legislator Denenberg Attends the Nassau County
11th Homeless Veterans Stand Down

The Nassau County Veterans Agency has been hosting the ‘Homeless Vets Stand Down’ since 2003. It is a day in which numerous agencies throughout New York State and Nassau County come together and provide much needed services to Veterans. On July 26, 2010 Legislator Denenberg (D-Merrick) and members of the Vietnam War Veterans assisted in making this event a success. Over 160 Veterans attended and benefited from the event.
